Unique Conference Venue
The private and relaxing setting of Akaroa House aids innovative and productive business meetings. The house has been used for brainstorming sessions of corporate leaders, and casual, fun team-building exercises. The large table extending to become a great boardroom setting suitable for up to twelve delegates. We are happy to assist with catering and delegate activity ideas.
We had a great development session and some good team time. But one of the best things was the environment–everyone felt very comfortable and relaxed and the kitchen/layout was great. I had planned for us to go out for dinner every night but in fact, aside from the night at the Akaroa Cooking School (which was just great), we cooked all our own meals and had a blast. Also, have to say from a business and personal perspective, having broadband access there was both useful and unique in Akaroa–we really appreciated it.

Delegates can stay at Akaroa House and, if further accommodation is needed, there are motels and apartments in easy walking distance. We can suggest local caterers to provide food, or the house is an easy stroll to the village to enjoy the great variety of cuisine on offer.
